Well, there’s a lot of news…since
my first newsletter!
I have customers asking
me: “What
happened to your shop?”
So, I will
explain that first…
From November
1994 to August 2005, we owned and operated “Keys
Plus/ Antelope” located
in Citrus Heights, Ca. It was a very successful business,
but it had a couple of major issues. It was a 12 by 13’ building!
And no Bathroom! So one day, for what reason I still
don’t fully understand, I decided to go bigger and
better! So we decided we would sell it, and rent a bigger
place with a show room for safes. But in the process of the
sale, we realized we would have to sell the name as well!
Thus “Approved Safe & Lock” was born!
We always liked
the Rocklin area, so we decided to open a new shop out
in Rocklin, Ca. We chose the Stanford Ranch Area. This
turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I have ever
made…. The area we choose
looked very promising, but it turned out to be a real poor
choose of locations. And with much regret and loss, we closed
the shop and decided to just go “mobile”.
Which since then I now know that was a great decision. Less
overhead, better prices for you the customer!
Around the same
timeframe, we decided to move to Lincoln, Ca. Over the years, I have done
a great deal of work in Lincoln, and sort of fell in love
with the not so little city… And like Paul Harvey
used to say: “That’s the rest of the story”!
So, for some time I have been a mobile
locksmith! I work out of my house, and still have a small
area in my garage to do Locksmithing. As well as my fully
equipped Van!
I have been a Locksmith for almost
17 Years now! Time sure flies when your having fun!
